I would just like to spread quite a bit of exciting news to the sound of a trumpet blowing, Little Shed Designs now has it's very own website!!!www.littlesheddesigns.co.uk  I will be cracking open the gin later!!! as it has been a long time coming and has felt a bit like War and Peace at times but obviously not as cold or as dramatic and nobody lost their lives.

My cut out duck seems very interested
This means that now you will be able to see all of our designs under one shed roof and any shed updates along the way.

New duck coasters

Ay up duck coasters 100mmx100mm
Introducing the Little Shed Designs "Ay up"coasters,  we have started with this cheery duck and will be adding to them in the  future with our other designs.  Each quality coaster is made in the UK,  has a cork back and can easily be cleaned  with a damp cloth.

We think they will make everyone smile whilst having a brew!! and will be great little prezzies to pop in an
envelope or as a stocking filler at that special time of year!!

Website photo's

At the moment Little Shed Designs is in the throws of building a website!! and we have been outside today as the sun has finally shone  to take some photographs to put on to it.

We have just got to do the "Everyday Royalty" range and they will all be ready for the website.

Norfolk at Easter

Horsey Mere wind pump
I have just spent a week in and around the  Norfolk Broads, somewhere that i haven't been since a child.  It made a real change from the rolling hills of Staffordshire, and enjoyed those  big skies, windmills and  large expanses of water.  Norwich Cathedral was interesting and we got to spy the resident Peregrines that have nested on a shelf high on its spire.

Norwich Cathedral

There were hundreds of grey seals to be seen on the beach  which took us an hour to walk to but was well worth it , I felt a little like David Attenborough!!!!

Grey Seals

As it was Easter we visited the church in the village of Belaugh near Wroxham

This simple cross was propped against the wall, and these quirky Kneelers I thought were great, each one depicting a scene from in and around the Norfolk Broads.  I  Love a bit of stitch work and  found them fun and a little bit different .

We even made two new friends that came to be fed everyday in the river at the bottom of the garden.  But all good things  must come to an end and back to sunny Staffordshire we came fully inspired with new ideas for new illustrations.

Spring into Easter

With  Easter just around the corner i thought  a new design is needed for my Easter range. As i enjoy watching the wild rabbits in the field out of "the shed" and also enjoy eating chocolate!!!, i came up with the perfect combination a rabbit and an egg!!! (don't ask me which came first!!?).  The  rabbit that i designed is quite young and scruffy and is hugging his egg with a look on his face as if to say "it's all mine".  Anyway he was soon turned into an Easter card and joined by a chicken and her chicks, and so we all went on an Easter shoot!!!!!

It was a lovely spring day down by the coop, and my own chickens seemed keen to get involved!!!

Valentine's Day

Tinkerbell and The Shed Gnomes waiting for love
Well it's that time of year again, yes Valentines Day and as you can see everyone is eagerly waiting for the postman to drop a little envelope through the door.  Do you remember the days when you were at school and you actually received a card through a mate of a mate and you weren't really sure who it was from and oh the endless speculation, it kept a class of fourteen year old's  fueled  for weeks . These days it's a quick kiss here's your card, and three bags of licorice and i'll see you later!!!! Mmmm the romance never dies. Anyway fingers crossed guys!!!
